Lou Dobbs is playing to the galleries. The galleries are filled with people like him who are waiting for the sound bytes. The frenzy will keep increasing until it reaches crescendo like the NAZI campaigns. So we need to direct part of our media campaign towards stopping these lies. The only way we will get out coverage is to go out against the big ones and make the noise. We need to get all the ravings of Lou against the legal immigrants every sound byte , every word he uttered against legal tax paying wannabe immigrants( no nationality restrictions). If all of us unite and make a move against him it will make CNN see reason or Lou to talk facts and not the fiction he talks about us.

Those are good points. We are not all Indian or Chinese on this website and in my case I moved to the US because of insecurity in my country (got kidnapped twice). If I went back there I could have a top job with a top company (and have had many offers) but that is not a place where I'd like to raise a family.
Before the US I almost moved to China, but then I got the US job offer. I now have the Canada option, but I wouldn't mind moving to India. I have lots of Indian friends and I think Indians are easily one of the very nicest people in the world while being smart too (not conceited), plus they speak English. (Nothing against China, but it would take me at least 3 years to learns OK Chinese)
Anyone have any advice about finding a job in India? (I am serious) I have to have options since my home country is not an option, and in case Canada doesn't work for me. If anyone can give me information on moving to India I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

A freind of mine came across a gentleman, who is here on work visa and he is facing a unique problem. He is married to two persons and wants to bring his whole family here in the USA. He was looking for answer if he can get both his spouses and kids here on H4 visas. Currently both of them and his kids are in India. Interesting hmmm :D

Lawsuite may not work in all occasions. If visa's are not available how can USCIS approve a petition? The law say a VISA should be available in order to approve a GC.

I have just received a copy of the denial notice that USCIS sent to the attorney for my I-140. This is what the notice states is the reason for the denial. Can someone please advise me what my chances are for an appeal to be approved? My lawyer is noncommittal at this this time. My I140 was filed under the EB3 Category. My 6th year of H1B expires in June.
"A Bachelor's degree is generallt found to require 4 years of education. Therefore, the beneficiary's 3 year diploma is not equivalent to a 4 year bachelors degree which is the minimum educational requirement to be classified as a professional on this labor certificate.
Under part H Number 4 of the Labor Certificate, the petitoner has checked the box "Other" under education. Under part 4-A the petitioner stated: 'Will accept academic studies evaluated as equivalent of US Bachelors'. The evaluation submitted indiactes that the beneficiary has the foreign equivalent of a US Bachelor of Science.
However this statement cannot infer that the petitioner will accept anything less than the minimum education requirements for a professional, i.e Bachelors degree. The evidence indicates that the beneficiary does not have a bachelors degree or foreign equivalent degree. Therefore, the beneficiary does not meet the minimum requirements of the ETA-9089"
Please note that I have a 3 year diploma & 1 year towards Bachelors in business & this case was files at the Texas Center. Any insights from knowledgeable members will be helpful.

It looks like guys from AP are running away from all the mess their state is currently in. On one hand there's that YSR's son trying to create havoc for the ruling Govt. His dad and himself being the most corrupt politicians the state has ever seen. On the other hand, there's this filthy congress high command trying to counter him. Its like CORRUPT1 vs CORRUPT2 trying to get the throne so that they can remain CORRUPT. And in the wings are parties like TDP, TRS and PRP --- Really, is there a political party in AP (or even India) where one can call it corrupt free? ha ha

The government is telling my family I am not an adequate person to form a family with in the U.S. because I was deported with a drug-related offence of more than 30 grams of marijuana, yet it is granting the 212(d)(3) Waiver for Non-Immigrant Visas to Aliens deported with a drug-related offence of more than 30 grams of marijuana and who wish to travel to the U.S.. United States Citizens need an Immigrant Visas Waiver available to their Alien Immediate Relatives deported with a drug-related offence of more than 30 grams of Marijuana in order to even the scales on both U.S. citizen and Alien immigration privileges concerning Deported Aliens with a Drug-Related Offence of More than 30 Grams of Marijuana.
The way things are now U.S. citizens without a criminal conviction and with Alien Immediate Relatives are being discriminated against by their own government. The needs of deported Aliens with criminal convictions are being placed before their own.
It�s pure hypocrisy and it�s my family�s and my name being placed on the line.
I mean, really, how great can the U.S. be if it�s willing to lose their citizens to aliens like me when they decide to move outside of the United States to join their Immediate and shunned Alien Relatives? The U.S. government�s violation of my family�s civil human rights to liberty, freedom of expression and equality before the law is unwarranted. My U.S. family�s civil liberties to equal protection under the law, to due process and privacy are being discriminated against, they are not receiving fair treatment.
