Great news. What will be greater is that not only these "students", but the people who employ them, the people who run the "university", the ones who gave accreditation to this "university" should be all loaded in a ship and dropped-off on a hitherto uninhabited island in the south pacific, with a live stream of their life made available post drop-off.
They can all happily screw each other on the island.
BTW, let one of the right wing radio shows get a hold of this news, we will not hear the end of this. The next logical step will be Steve King professing an end to F1 visas.

Do this - Hire a homeless person, give him a VOIP phone with unlimited calling minutes, and ask him to call USCIS every second of his life asking for your recipt. Some day you will get the good news. When is this name check reform getting implemented. Why is is so difficult to implement ?
Because the USCIS did not implement name check procedures properly in the first place - they are not required by law and are not codified in the regulations, the USCIS can implement new procedures simply by issuing inter-office memorandum. One day is enough to do this. I anticipate this may happen within the next two months, more likely early next year. But one can never predict the USCIS, it does not have logical behavior :)

I work with corporate lawyers everyday, and yes they are very smart. However, immigration lawyers are the bottom of the barrel.
I have nothing against lawyers, most are hard-working and smart. But that smartness also makes them confuse others and ultimately its the clients who have to pay for the smartness of the lawyers.
I am totally against that.
making a living is one thing, but talk about confusing people and milking them for the money !!!

How about boycotting CNN. The immigration community should boycott CNN. That will send a strong message to CNN with there current trouble with there rattings.
The idea is - use this guy and expose media that gives false news or that supresses real issues and force those types of media to bring our issue to limelight.
I have heard all media saying "We are immigrant nation", "we need skilled immigrants", "'We are not racist", etc.. then again the same media says "Immigrants are overstaying visas", "There is quota, we cannot do anything", same media has supressed microsoft's news about the Canada development center just because it involved immigration.
I am of a strong opinion that media is controlled by politicians, the reporters who said they will cover the flower campaign - chances are that their bosses may ask them not to or give them another assignment ???

i had a GC of a priority date 01-13-2003. Then my employer was kind enough to do one more simultaneous application with a date of 11-15-2004.
The attorney we were working with at that time exchanged the I140 between apps and he screwed up big time on my 2003. So we had to withdraw both my I140 approved 2003 application and the 11-15-2004.
Then we had to go back and apply for Perm and start the process again. I spent 5K and my employer about another 5K on 3 apps so far.
if it is fate on one side it was USCIS on the other, but god was on my side, and hence i am still in this country!!!!

We have been living in a county which has implemented 287g for some time. And I believe all legal residents in my county feel safer because of its implementation. Sure, there is a chance that 287g can be misused by the police. But tell me one law which can not be misused by police.
The thing is that more counties are signing on to 287g. St. Mary's County Joins Controversial Federal Immigration Initiative - Southern Maryland Headline News (http://somd.com/news/headlines/2010/11667.shtml).
I went thru the proposal in Arizona and could not find even one point which might be bad for us. Did any of you find something? To go one step further on your point, the whole world should have a better understanding and expectation of employment-based immigration to America. When the fact is out, it is really up to the indivdual to make an informed decision without complainting.
here is the reality:
you came here thinking they will love you because of your math skills.
what actually happened: they took all the credit, and 10-15 years of your career without letting you progress.
we got screwed, plain and simple, by the dreams they showed us. we did not read the fine print. that is why we are half lawyers now.
make sure you teach your children to read the fine print. and try to gauge the intentions of those who are showing you dreams.
this is the same country which talked of equality and fraternity of man and then quietly removed colored people from the definition of humans, and legally accepted slavery.

There is no such law that specifies any duration one has to be employed by GC (or AC-21) employer. Period.

But the fact is we have not seen a single case of citizenship denial or RFE where someone had changed the job immediately after getting a job. If there was any such case, send it across for us to see.

One thing... one has to go to make real effors to make far-fetched connections between the elimination of US planes in the down-select of MMRCA and immigration!
That said... on the topic of F-22, with the Sukhoi T-50 joint development, India is on the path to get a 5th generation fighter by 2017. So F-22 in the fray or not is irrelevant. The MMRCA RFP is for a different class of fighters.

I dont think so. I believe that EB3 I would get the bare minimum they should get in a year if not more.
I am not tracking approvals rate as such. But if, CIS hasn't used as many numbers have DOS reported, then as Ron suggested, dates will move forward for EB3 Ind.
