No. I am not anti-immigrant. I am anti-illegal immigrant. I know the AZ law very well coz I read it not like many who seem to listen to talk radio. Good opinions can be formed only with good knowledge and we don't need evryone to have an opinion. Most should only subscribe to an opinion otherwise there will only be infighting and no progress.
President Obama just lost a good chance to gain democratic majority in Nov. Now people are saying....why is the fed govt. not letting a state protect its citizens?
Also the fact that a lawsuit is brought against AZ shows that the real wider immigration issue is not to be touched.
Can you explain how this new law protects American citizens?

i did not get a receipt, without that how can i think of GC?
i filed 485. now why should i care?

there are motivated members who cannot come for genuine reasons. we are trying to help them where we can- and they are helping others where they can. but they are far outnumbered by the "this is a forum if you don't want tracking why don't you close it" crowd. and the "who are you to ask me" crowd and " participation is voluntary, don't spam me" crowd- you know the drill.
apparently many have forgotten or never bothered to find out that IV is a grassroots organization that aims to end all retrogression. and they have a distaste for education too. after all they are "highly skilled" :confused:

People are essentially good if they see the goals and reasons clearly. Let's encourage them, and go for it! Over 10,000!!!

Employee hereby agrees to refund to the Company all amounts expended by the Company in the immediately preceding 12 months for education or training of the Employee if Employee resigns from the employment with the Company or is terminated by the Company for gross neglect of duty, material breach of the Letter or this Agreement or conviction or plea of guilty or no contests to a felony. Employee authorizes the Company to deduct and withhold such payment in full from any compensation or other amounts otherwise owed or payable to Employee. The payments will be due within 30 days of termination of the employment."
Bottom line, once you sign in legal terms you are agreeing to the company terms & conditions...as I highlighted above, its pretty clear that if you leave before the set time frame you will be responsible for paying them back!!

Looks like for July 2nd they just started and i talked to 5 other guys( who got receipt) - all of them has a sending time between 9 and 9:30 AM by FEDEX
Mine went around 11:30 by USPS on July 2nd - so i have to wait for at least 2weeks. 1 hr late means 1 week delay !!

What is supplimentry exam? Is it that you did some extra courses after finishing your requisite courses for Bachelors? or are you refering to clearing your backlog subjects ( subjects from previous semesters that you had not cleared?). Where did you get your degree India or US?

So basically my degree completion is completed in 2002 (as I understood recently even though I was allowed to work and join the job I got in 2000 after my course completion). I got my degree in india. the problem is, the degree certificate they gave had date of dec 2000 in big letters and june 2002 in small letters (in parenthesis next to the dec 2000 date). the attorney took the date in big letters (dec 2000). I didn't know much about progressive experience and was not completely aware of progressive experience of EB2 requirement

From what I gathered, you were just being a messenger and if you look at my post, I have never referred to you in anything. All my answers were directed to hadron. At the same time its a little frustrating to us when people repeatedly keep on questioning our goals/legitimacy. Being a messenger, you bore the brunt from some of us :(

Labor market has no influence on EB1/2 ROW. Look at DHS historic data (core should look at that as well), EB1+Eb2 ROW is well above 70K every year, even in 2000 recession. My understanding is that they are athletes, managers, PH.D. which rarely change by economic condition. Also past DHS data showed over 10K india EB2 2008. That could be the max we can get per year

I understand that the air time on the show can be very very limited. Probably a min or less. After discussing the VB fiasco, If Dr Bahrainwala gets a chance, He should strongly consider mentioning the root cause of the problem.

I haven't posted anything so far...hopefully my predictions comes true :-)
This is a wishful thinking. Since there is a lot of pending cases for March...clearing March logs will take time. We have to expect a baby step unless a miracle happens.
