Go into Windows Explorer and right click on the disk (if you mean the CD or DVD) and select "EJECT".
Btw, the OPTION key is not used to eject optical media from the ODD, the EJECT key on the top right of the keyboard is used for that.

The official TRIM support is already in Snow Leopard builds for the new Macbook Pros with SSDs and it's in Lion as well. The official support is only for the Apple's SSDs, no TRIM support for third party SSDs. There is a way to enable it for any SSD that supports TRIM, but it is a hack. If you do a little bit of searing, you can see some pretty cool videos by people using nothing but iPhones, especially the iphone4.

I have bought some stuff on eBay such as a wide angle lens and macro lens to play with. I am having a hell of a time trying to find a 15ft or longer 3ring cable extension to attach a external mic to. But once I have that, I'll use another eBay toy to mount it on a small tripod.
Some might wonder why I am bothring with the iPhone as a video tool, but the fact that I can carry a HD camera kit in my shoulder bag is too convenient not to try.
I'll be using it do interviews and creative work.

put it in "extend (bridge mode)" under connection sharing on the internet page.
then give it the same SSID and security settings as the main base.
your devices will automatically switch to the stronger signal as you move around the house. it will only appear once.
most large locations (like airports (not apple's devices, but the places with airplanes)) do this, and you never know.
that's only if you are using the same flavor of wireless (B,G, or N) on both units, if you are trying to create separate G & N networks, still use the bridge mode but give them different names. (up to you if the security settings are the same or not)

Update: Just redid my airport configurations and wireless through the bridge is much faster now. WDS officially stinks!

To answer your question, I just upgraded from JB 4.3.1 to JB 4.3.2 without restoring. Just updated to stock 4.3.2 in iTunes, then ran redsn0w over it to jailbreak, then reinstalled all my JB packages.
Not sure if not going through a full restore will have any adverse affects, I certainly haven't noticed any yet though!how did you reinstall you jb packages?
i never tried just updating, i usually do a full restore, the last one i did i wiped everything of my phone and started fresh cus it was a little sluggish and slow, after that is been running nice and smooth

Awesome. I know two developers (actually, the iPhone teachers at my college) who went, but were interested in multiple sessions running at the same time. This made their day.
Looks like Apple made it clear to me what size iPad they want me to buy. :)

You might try turning off passive mode...I've had it make some problems for me when I was behind a heavy school firewall and some packet shapers...give it a shot.says "getting folder list..." for a very long time in 'Port Mode'.

Ok, so I decided to buy SL 10.6 and a new HDD, but does anyone know if I have to first setup the new drive with the original disks 10.5 that came with the uMB, or can I just use SL 10.6? I also have the application disk with iLife 09 which I know I can instal after the OS.
When Apple sells SL do they include any other drivers and software so that I can just install using the SL disk?
Trying to make sure I am clear in what I am stating only because I do not want to have to load the original discs.

I'm working on a Space Invaders testcase.
You know those barriers right? Where you can hide behind and shoot a hole through? That's what I want to achieve.
Is it possible to do a collisiondetection pixelwise? And make a series of pixels of that sprite transparent after collision?
I'm using Cocos2d by the way.

I think I'll have to go with a custom MutableTexture2d for fast getting and setting of pixels:

- If there's a collision do a 'sprite merge' with one sprite being an impact-radius sprite and of course the barrier sprite using setPixelAt.

Either you can rip all of your CDs to iTunes, and start fresh by re-syncing it, or you can pull music off of that iPod using the guide I provided.
