I got mine from Walmart, after i heard from couple of my friends. they give 6 photos for 8 bucks or something, where-as if you go to places like Walgreens or CVS.. they only give 2 photos for 8 bucks.

Guys, I have no travel plans for now. But as an FYI, If my AP or for that matter my EAD expires before renewal, can you apply for a new EAD/AP? :confused: Assuming you cannot renew them anymore, of course I doubt you can.

The online case status reflects the notice dates and not the actual received dates....These are the dates the cases were entered into USCIS's systems...

I dont know about other members but it is hard for me to blv that IIT's and IIM's will come to US for a masters degree coz they could not find a job in India or they could not get an admit in a master's program.
If that was the case people would have stopped going got IIT's/IIM's. Why will someone work so hard to get to the top most program - to not get a job and then pursue MS from US OF A????
I think the IIT's/IIM's come here they MOSTLY (not all) come here for a purpose....research/money/better life/whatevet.....

I guess my question stems from the comment above. Say if I do not get my GC and I wish to go back after 10 yrs is it possible to get my SS money back even if I am on H1 status?

I gets very severe migraine attack almost everyday thinking about the GC !! I took so many pain killers(acetameno) almost everyday ..now they also stopped working on me...and due to these apin killers ..I became acidic ..acidity everyday..even without eating spicy things...my wife says, probably my lever damaged ..don't like to visit doctors ...will it get worse ? I can't escape visiting IV everyday !! Any remedy for me will be highly appreciated....

What if there are just enough numbers to keep EB2 World rolling. I will be interesting in learning more about how these allocations work. Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.

Regarding who decides what flows where is department of state. Congress makes laws and then the cabinet agency makes rules on how those laws will be implemented. While making these rules, the agency gets some discrition in situations such as this where law will allow more than one possibility.

I have nothing to say about the dems in particular...........however, you are being extremely short sighted if you want Obama to loose. He is driving this country in the right direction, and you go with any republican who just talks nonsense of tax cut and national security, you may have a green card or even citizenship - and your children will be wishing to go to another country as there are no opportunities here!

i disagree with you, i love obama the candidate, but since then he did little to merit his election, so howz health care gonna help ppl who have no job in the first place, stimulus was a colossal failure by any standard, he referred republicans as "enemies", howz that for a "change" in dc? we all know this country needs innovation but therz no significant increase in R&D under his presidency, i love some of his decisions but saying he is taking country in the right direction and there is no republican who can do that is not true,

What about if the I-140(EB2) rejected?. The 485 will be rejected too?. What are the possibilities of I-140 rejection?

The request to adjudicate I-485 will go out only after EB-2 I-140 is approved. I-140 rejection "should" not trigger your pending EB-3 I-485 rejection but it all depends on how the IO interprets your case. He could issue an RFE (I would guess) asking for an EVL for your EB-3 case. In my colleague's case however, TSC automatically adjudicated the I-485 since the new EB-2 I-140 carried the same Alien# as the pending I-485. It seems TSC has a system in place to identify such cases, NSC doesn't. Another colleague of mine whose I-485 is pending at NSC and EB-2 I-140 approved at TSC is still waiting for I-485 approval and its been a month since his I-140 was approved.
